FIPCO subsidiary awarded accreditation certificate from Pilgrims Housing Project

Filling and Packing Material Mfg. Co.’s (FIPCO) subsidiary FPC Industries Co obtained a certificate of accreditation from the Pilgrims Housing Project in Mina, Makkah, the company said in a bourse statement on Sunday.

The Pilgrims Housing Project awarded the certificate to the company for its different types of industrial fire-resistant fabrics, which are used in building tents, shades and for other purposes related to pilgrims’ housing projects in Mina, Makkah, the statement added.

Pilgrims Housing Project is one of the projects of the Public Investment Fund.

The statement further noted that this certificate was obtained after passing all the necessary tests from the project consultant after getting the required quality certificates from US and European accredited laboratories.

FPC products also obtained eleven quality certificates from specialized authorities, such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, flame- retardant and a certificate of using environmentally friendly materials in manufacturing (REACH), the statement added.
