Saudi Arabia aims to benefit from post-pandemic phase, global economic changes: Al-Falih

Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih said Saudi Arabia aims to benefit from the post-pandemic phase and global economic changes, as well as major investment opportunities offered by Vision 2030 and the National Investment Strategy, Okaz newspaper reported.

The statement came on the sidelines of the Saudi-Austrian Investment Forum and the Joint Saudi-Austrian Committee to discuss the current and future bilateral efforts, as well as ways of cooperation and development of ties between the two countries in economic, trade and investment areas.

Al-Falih said Austria has very strong and distinguished economic sectors in terms of quality and efficiency. The sectors include tourism and culture, industry, information technology, human resources, scientific research, universities and vocational training. Therefore, the productivity of Austrian employees and citizens is very strong.

All these sectors were discussed with the Austrian delegation at the forum, the minister said, stressing that strong results, including partnerships and mutual investments, came out of the meetings.
