Alkhorayef Water shares record highest close since listing

Shares of Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co. (AWPT) edged up 2% today, Jan. 2, to close at an all-time high of SAR 145.60.

The stock recorded its highest price of SAR 146.60 during today’s session, with a trading volume of nearly 93,300 shares.

Established in 1991, AWPT listed on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) in March 2021 and has made no changes to its capital since then.

The company's key activities are represented in the water sector, along with sewage and integrated water solutions.

AWPT is engaged in extending water lines between and within cities, establishing and maintaining new networks, constructing and repairing stations and main water distribution lines as well as irrigation, watering canals and main water storage towers. Besides digging and maintaining water wells, the firm is involved in constructing and repairing sewage projects, networks and pumps, along with building dams.
