Tadawul: Net foreign buys up to SAR 43.5 bln in 2022, Saudis net sells at SAR 5.5 bln

Qualified foreign investors (QFIs) were net purchasers of SAR 43.49 billion worth of stocks on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) in 2022, up 70% from SAR 25.54 billion in 2021, according to data issued by Tadawul.

QFIs include SWAP agreements, qualified investors, resident investors, discretionary portfolio management (DPMs), and strategic partners.

Foreign investors bought SAR 316.95 billion worth of shares and sold shares at a total value of SAR 273.45 billion in 2022.

Foreign investors recorded the highest purchases in March at SAR 14.87 billion.
