Halwani Bros appoints Fawaz Halwani acting CEO after Thamer Temairik resigns

Halwani Bros. Co.’s board of directors accepted on March 25 the resignation of board member and CEO Thamer Temairik, which was submitted on March 23 for personal reasons, the company said in a Tadawul statement.

 

The resignation will be effective from March 31, 2023, the statement added.

 

Meanwhile, the company’s board approved appointing Fawaz Halwani as acting CEO starting from April 1, 2023.

 

The newly appointed acting CEO holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He has held several leaderships positions throughout his career, which spans more than 25 years, including the executive vice president of Halwani Bros.
