solutions signs SAR 329 mln contract with Aramco

Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co. (solutions) signed a SAR 329 million contract, inclusive of VAT, with Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco) to provide a high-performance computer and related services such as hosting, maintenance, technical support, and other related services.

Under the contract, solutions will facilitate the digital transformation of Saudi Aramco over five years, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

The contract outlines the design, implementation, operation, and management of the high-performance computer.

The five-year contract also includes managing, maintaining, and providing technical support.

Furthermore, the contract incorporates hosting services for the data centers of the high-performance computer. This involves providing a secure and dedicated communication network, as well as deploying the latest cybersecurity mechanisms and services.

The financial impact of the contract will appear in the company's financial statements starting Q4 2023, the statement added. There are no related parties to the contract.
