359,000 access domestic worker health insurance on Musaned in H1 2024

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) announced that around 359,000 beneficiaries accessed the new health insurance service for domestic workers through the Musaned platform, for contracts with new employers during the first half of 2024. 

The number of domestic worker recruitment contracts via Musaned reached about 412,400 in the first half of 2024, according to the ministry’s statement today, Aug. 13. 

HRSD Ministry also highlighted the addition of new countries for recruitment, including Gambia, Burundi, Sierra Leone, and Tanzania, increasing the total to 33.  

The statement also noted that Musaned registered over 907 accredited recruitment offices across the Kingdom and 8,286 active external offices. Additionally, the average arrival time for domestic workers decreased by 11%. Over 583,690 domestic worker resumes were uploaded on Musaned, with a 92% satisfaction rate from users of the platform.
