Almarai board member tops list of highest paid execs

Almarai Co.’s former managing director and non-executive board member Abdul Rahman Al Muhanna has topped the list of highest-paid executives working for Saudi-listed firms, as he earned SAR 20 million in 2015.

The ranking, which is measured by salaries and bonuses, is not comprehensive as only some companies disclose detailed information on executive compensation.

Fahd Al-Rasheed, who currently serves at chief executive and managing director of Emaar The Economic City (Emaar EC), received SAR 14.92 million in total compensation for the year.

Ahmad Al Saeed, chief executive and managing director of Herfy Food Services, was paid SAR 8.14 million in salary and bonuses during the period, up from SAR 7.97 million in 2014.

Other executives included in the ranking currently serve at Saudi British Bank (SABB), Budget Saudi, Fitaihi Group and Petro Rabigh, among other Saudi-listed firms.
