Sakani Program served 55,000 families in Q1; launched 3 projects

The total of 54,965 families benefited from the housing ministry’s Sakani Program in the first quarter of 2019, of which 27,883 families received houses, the program said in a statement.

The program serves 14,728 families in April 2019, of which 7,088 families got houses, it said.

Sakani also added 18 housing plans in seven areas, offering 4,214 land plots, as prt of its plan to facilitate home ownership to 200,000 families in 2019.

Meanwhile, 53 projects are underway to provide over 100,000 units across the Kingdom.

The housing ministry is building 40 housing projects with average prices of SAR 350,000 per unit.

In a separate statement the program revealed it launched three new housing projects in Tabuk, Jazan and Asir.

The new projects will provide 2,515 residential units.

The program called on beneficiaries to review the projects’ details and reserve units either online or through its showrooms at projects’ sites.

Tabuk project provides 359 villas worth SAR 330,000 with monthly installments amounting to SAR 1,376.

In Jazan, Sakani’s project comprises 812 villas with prices of SAR 390,000. Monthly installments stand at SAR 1,628.

Asir’s project has 1,344 apartments under constructions at prices stating from SAR 348,000.

The projects have complete and integrated infrastructure, as well as public services and utilities.
